Certified Massage Therapist, Mahita Gorins started studying bodywork therapy at the age of fourteen when she took a course in Ayurveda and Massage. This inspired her to spend the next 10 years studying the field of Nutritional counseling through Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, and Bodywork Technologies.
Her focuses include: Swedish massage • Deep Tissue Structural Integration methods developed by Ida Rolf • Infant massage • Geriatric massage • Reflexology • Reiki • Sensory Re-patterning • Neuro-Muscular Massage • Ayurvedic healing practices including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Urdvartana, Garshana and Basti Mahitas' special affinity is for Deep Structural Release work and for the Profound stress reduction therapies she learned through Ayurveda, which heal and regenerate the nervous system. Mahita enjoys tailoring each session based on her clients’ individual needs and goals. Mahita is committed to giving herself fully to each session and loves this work with all of her heart. There has never been a day when she was not glad to share these skills, and hopes to continue to serve for a long time to come. Mahita has spent the last 9 months in India working with a charitable organization and has plans to continue this kind of volunteer work throughout her life.
